No corn maze in 2024, roadside produce stand now open
Posted 17 August 2024
Hello maze goers, Murray here.
I just wanted to make it official that the corn maze will NOT be open during the 2024 season.
For now the field has been planted with a cover crop to prevent erosion, which will also add to the soil when it is tilled in.
As far as next year and beyond?
We’re not certain yet. I hope to have an answer before the end of 2024 as to whether or not we’ll open again next year.
Produce stand now open
However, the roadside produce stand is now open. You’ll find sweet corn, carrots, beets, potatoes, and more veggies, plus many types of squash as they are ready.
For information on sweet corn, produce, or squash, call Bruce at (250) 755-6005.
The roadside produce stand is CASH ONLY.
You can also find McNab's produce at these farmers markets:
- Duncan Farmers Market – Every Saturday, 9am – 2pm in Downtown Duncan
- Cedar Farmers Market – Every Sunday, 10am – 2pm (until Oct. 27) at Woodbank School in Cedar
- Island Roots Farmers Market – Every Wednesday from 3pm – 6pm in Beban Park, Nanaimo
Thank you again for supporting McNabs Corn Maze & Produce Farm. You’ll hear more from me here once I have more to share.
